It’s finally here, Assassin’s Creed fans. A new entry “Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red” in the series set in feudal Japan was announced during Ubisoft Forward on Saturday. Marc-Alexis Côté called Red the “next premium title” in Ubisoft’s open world series and said Ubisoft Quebec is leading the project, suggesting it’ll resemble Odyssey more than Mirage next year.

Besides the teaser, Côté revealed that Codename Hexe is a ‘different kind of Assassin’s Creed game.’ Ubisoft Montreal, the studio that first created the series, is developing the game with Clint Hocking on board as creative director. Even though he’s not a household name, Hocking is probably one of the most influential designers at Ubisoft, with credits like Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Far Cry 2. According to Bloomberg’s Jason Scheier, the game takes place during the last days of the Holy Roman Empire.

No release date has been announced yet, but Ubisoft said both games would work with Infinity, which Côté called a service, not a game per se. Côté says Ubisoft is exploring the possibility of creating standalone multiplayer experiences within Infinity, but Ubisoft was cryptic about what Infinity would involve.
