The Redmi G gaming laptop 2021, an upgrade to last year’s Redmi G, was unveiled on September 22 to upgrade to the Redmi G.
The new model is available in both Intel and AMD configurations. Both have a 144Hz display and 16GB of RAM. Aside from that, the laptop has 512GB of storage and can be upgraded to run Windows 11.
On the processor front, the Intel variant of the Redmi G 2021 is equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor from the 11th generation, whereas the AMD variant is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor.
Both models are equipped with Xiaomi’s Hurricane Cooling 3.0 heat dissipation system, which features large dual fans to cool the device.

Prices for the Redmi G 2021 have been set at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs. 64,900) for the Intel Core i5 model and CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 69,900) for the AMD Ryzen 7 variant (roughly Rs. 79,700).
On Thursday, September 23, the Intel-based model will be available for purchase in the Chinese market. Although it will not be available until September 28, the AMD option will be available.
It has not yet been confirmed whether or not the Redmi G 2021 will be available in international markets.
In August of last year, the original Redmi G was launched at a starting price of CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 60,300), with an Intel Core i5-10200H processor and a 60Hz display.

The Redmi G 2021 runs Windows 10 (with the option to upgrade to Windows 11) and has a 16.1-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, as well as TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.
The Intel-based version of the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-11260H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card from the 11th generation of Intel processors.
The AMD option includes an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 processor paired with Nvidia GeForce 3060 graphics to create a powerful gaming experience.
The Redmi G 2021 is available in both Intel and AMD configurations, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The laptop is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and DTS:X Ultra 3D surround sound for an immersive audio experience.
USB Type-C charging, a backlit keyboard with three levels of illumination, and the Xiao AI digital assistant are other features.
The Intel variant includes a 180W power adapter and a proprietary heat dissipation system with dual fans.
On the other hand, the AMD model comes with a 230W power adapter and features the same heat dissipation system as the Intel model, which includes dual 12V fans, four air outlets, and five all-copper heat pipes.
