This app has been downloaded more than 10 million times. According to the information, 148 million videos have been watched since its launch, and 3.6 million videos liked by the users.
In this app, users can download and upload videos. Apart from this, there is also the facility of chatting with friends, content sharing, and browsing through feeds.
The biggest feature of the Chingari app is that users can upload Whatsapp status, video, audio, GiF stickers, photos, etc. in it.
Apart from English, this app is supporting nine more languages such as Hindi, Bangla, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu Languages.
According to the news, this app has been developed by Bangalore – based developers Biswatma Nayak and Siddharth Gautam.
The biggest loss from this ban has been to Tiktok’s parent company Bytdance, as it had a lot of apps in India apart from Tiktok.
After this ban, the Chinese government newspaper Global Times has said in its report that after the ban on 59 Chinese apps by the Indian government, BiteDance, the parent company of Tiktok and Helo, could suffer a loss of 6 billion dollars, or about 450 billion rupees.
Talking about the performance of Tiktok in India, there are 611 million or 61.1 crore users. Bytedance has about 2,000 full-time employees in India who work for apps such as Helo, Tiktok, and Vigo video.
