Players that believe they’ve seen everything in GTA 5’s Story Mode after completing every mission, side mission, collectible, and so on are mistaken.
The Director Mode, which debuted with the PC version of the game and was later added to the PS4 and Xbox One versions, is one of the most innovative ways to play GTA 5.
Its primary premise is to offer players complete control over the game and to allow them to do whatever they want. That sounds eerily similar to the main game, but the distinction lies in the player’s option to play as almost anyone in Story Mode.
There are a plethora of different “actors” to pick from, with more becoming available as the player progresses through GTA 5’s Story Mode.
A Comprehensive Tutorial to GTA 5’s Director Mode.
To begin, the Director Mode varies from the Rockstar Editor in that the two are utilised in tandem to make proper clips and videos. When played alone, the Director Mode allows users to manage other NPCs and characters in GTA 5 to their hearts’ content.
In Story Mode, it may be accessed via the Interaction Menu. When inside a car or when wanted by the police, however, players are unable to use the Director Mode.
Players can access the Director Mode by following these steps:
- They’ll have to go to the Interaction Menu (Hold Touchpad on the PS4).
- They must choose Director Mode.
- To get started, users can choose actors, settings, and other options.
There are 17 different types of actors to choose from, and players have complete control over the game. They have control over things like:
- Time of Day
- Low Gravity
- Pedestrian Density
- Wanted Status
- Weather
- Invincibility
- Restricted Areas
- Super Jump
- Slidey Cars
- Explosive Bullets
Gamers can opt to either unleash mayhem in Freemode, where they have complete control, or they can choose to make Scenes. Thanks to the Rockstar Editor, they can use the game’s assets to create humorous films and videos in GTA 5 using any of the actors they desire.
With Director Mode, players have been able to produce a plethora of cinematic masterpieces, demonstrating just how good a game GTA 5 is.
